Super scientists continued...

What an exciting week we've had celebrating 'Science Week'!

Each day we have learnt about a different scientist, including; Ada Lovelace, Jane Goodall, Stephen Hawking, Johannes Kepler and Isaac Newton. We know lots about why they are all so well known so please ask us!

We've also learnt a little more about the types of scientists there are, including: astronomers, chemists, entomologists, marine biologists and meteorologists. Make sure you ask us what they do - we all know!

We've also worked on some different areas of science over the week, completing lots of interesting research and experiments. We experimented with measuring our pulse: using our fingers and counting and also using heart monitors then created graphs to show the correlation between exercise and heart rate.

Yesterday, we researched the planets a little more, specifically the size of them! We used a range of different fruits to show scaled down versions of our solar system!

Finally, we came together in our teams this morning, to share just what we've learnt over the week! It was so nice to share with our friends across each class what we had learnt!
